Emergency medical care limits depend on the insurance company you are getting your coverage through. They usually vary from $3 million to $5 million in total coverage. You MUST let your insurance company know AS SOON AS you go to the hospital or clinic, in order to make sure you are covered, or have a family member contact them within hours if you are unable to. This coverage is for treatments that are urgent and necessary for the stabilization of your medical condition and arise from an accident or illness that occurs during your trip coverage period. This coverage has several branches besides just actual doctor care, such as emergency dental, ambulance or taxi services, costs to get your family, pets and baggage home, meals, childcare costs for dependents on the trip and more. (*Ask your broker or refer to your policy for actual coverages and coverage limits/amounts).

If for some GOOD reason, you do not require medical coverage for you and your travelling partner, this coverage is for you. (We assume this is because you have medical coverage elsewhere, because out of country medical care can put you back $1000's) These Non-Medical Packages offer protection for JUST things like Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Baggage.
